Day 1- Sunday, November 9 - HONOLULU

We leave Honolulu via air for Fukuoka Airport .  Due to crossing the International Date Line, you will lose one day.

Day 2 - Monday, November 10 - FUKUOKA                                                                                                           

Arrrive at Fukuoka Airport .  After completion of government formalities, transfer to your hotel in Fukuoka City .Accommodations at NISHITETSU GRAND HOTEL.

Day 3 – Tuesday, November 11- FUKUOKA / IMARI / NAGASAKI                                                               (B)

Breakfast at hotel.  This morning, we leave Fukuoka for Imari to visit Imari-yaki pottery kiln.  You will enjoy shopping there.  The tour will continue on to Nagasaki .  The city tour of Nagasaki consists of visiting the Peace Park , Glover Mansion , Oura Cathedral and Atomic Bomb Museum .  Dinner is on your own. Accommodations at HOTEL NEW NAGASAKI .

Day 4 - Wednesday, November 12- NAGASAKI / SHIMABARA / KIRISHIMA                                (B)   (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  We leave Nagasaki for Unzen to visit Unzen Jigoku hotspring hells. Then, we proceed to Shimabara with a short stop at Fukae on the way to visit Mt. Fugen Eruption Museum.  We will then leave Shimabara for Kumamoto by ferry.  We arrive at the Kumamoto Port.   Then, proceed to Kirishima via the Cross Kyushu Expressway. Dinner and accommodations at KIRISHIMA ROYAL HOTEL(onsen).

Day 5 - Thursday, November 13 - KAGOSHIMA / CHIRAN / IBUSUKI                                      (B)     (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  In the morning, we depart on a city tour of Kagoshima , visiting Iso Garden Park , Shiroyama Park , and the Cemetery of Saigo Takamori .  We then proceed to Chiran.  We will go on a sightseeing of Chiran, visiting Bukeyashiki Samurai Residences and Tokkotai or Kamikaze Pilots Museum .  After the tour of Chiran, we proceed to Ibusuki Spa. Dinner and accommodations at IBUSUKI IWASAKI HOTEL (onsen).

Day 6 - Friday, November 14 - IBUSUKI / SAKURAJIMA / MIYAZAKI / AOSHIMA ( B) (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  We leave Ibusuki for Kagoshima and take a ferry to Sakurajima.  We will go on a sightseeing of Sakurajima, visiting its lava fields.  Then, we proceed to the scenic Nichinan Coast via Miyazaki .  Sightseeing of Nichinan Coast Quasi-National Park , visiting the beautiful islet of Aoshima, Horikiri Pass and “Oni-no-Sentakuiwa” or Ogres’ Washboard Rock formations. Dinner and accommodations at AOSHIMA PALM BEACH HOTEL (onsen).

Day 7 – Saturday, November 15 - AOSHIMA / NOBEOKA / BEPPU                            (B)   (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  We leave Aoshima for Beppu via Nobeoka driving along the eastern coast of Kyushu .  Sightseeing along the way.  Upon arrival, we will go on a tour of Beppu, visiting Takasakiyama Monkey Park and “Jigoku”, the hells of hotsprings. Dinner and accommodations at BEPPU WAN ROYAL HOTEL. (onsen).

Day 8 - Sunday, November 16 - BEPPU / MT. ASO / KUMAMOTO                                   (B)

Breakfast at our hotel.  We leave the hotel for Mt. Aso via scenic Yamanami Highway .  We will take a cable car ride to the crater of Mt. Aso for a full view of this great volcano.  After Mt. Aso , we continue on to Kumamoto .  En route, you may make a brief stop at Musashi-zuka or the Graveyard of Miyamoto Musashi.  Upon arrival at Kumamoto , visiting Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Park is a treat.  Dinner is on your own. Accommodations at HOTEL NIKKO (JAL) KUMAMOTO .

Day 9 – Monday, November 17 - KUMAMOTO / YAME / HAKI / DAZAIFU / FUKUOKA / OKINAWA    (B)

Breakfast at our hotel.  In the morning, we proceed to Yame City and visit the Yame Traditional Crafts Hall.  You will be able to participate in making “Washi” or traditional Japanese Paper by your own hands.  Then, we will proceed to Haki and enjoy Kaki-gari or Persimmons picking.  After Haki, we continue on to the Fukuoka Airport .  Enroute, you may make a brief stop at the Dazaifu Tenman Shrine to see its wonderful chrysanthemum flowers display.  We will continue on to the  Fukuoka Airport for our flight to Okinawa .  It will take about an hour and 40 minutes to the Naha Aiport in Okinawa .  After arrival we will transfer to our hotel in Naha City .  Dinner is on your own. Accommodations at HOTEL NIKKO NAHA-GRAND CASTLE .

Day 10 –Tuesday, November 18 - OKINAWA / SOUTHERN PART                               (B)  (L)  (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  Sightseeing of Southern Part of Okinawa Island, visiting Ryukyu Kingdom where you will visit Gyokusendo Stalactite Cave and enjoy “Eisa” dance and Taiko drum performance, Himeyuri Monument and Mabuni Hill.  A Teppan-yaki lunch at a leading restaurant is in store for you.  After the tour, we return to Naha . Dinner with Ryukyu Dance entertainment at the Restaurant Urashima. Accommodations at HOTEL NIKKO NAHA-GRAND CASTLE .

Day 11 – Wednesday, November 19 - OKINAWA (CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PART)         (B)  (D)

Breakfast at our hotel.  In the morning, we will visit the famous Shuri Castle .  We then proceed to Motobu Peninsular via Cross Okinawa Expressway.  We will visit the newly renovated aquarium and enjoy dolphins’ show at the Okinawa Oceanic Exposition Memorial Park .  After the tour, we will proceed to the Northern section of Okinawa. Dinner and accommodations at MANZA BEACH HOTEL AND RESORT.

Day 12 – Thursday, November 20 - OKINAWA / TOKYO / HONOLULU                         (B)         

Breakfast at our hotel.  We will leave the hotel for Naha Airport .  En route, you will drop in at the Manzamo Cliff for a brief tour.  We will arrive at the Naha Airport before noon .  We depart Okinawa in the early afternoon via Tokyo for Honolulu .  We arrive Honolulu International Airport in the morning on the same day. We gain one day crossing the International Date Line.
