Day 1 - Saturday            HONOLULU / NEW YORK

Leave Honolulu via air on an overnight flight to New York .

Day 2 - Sunday             NEW YORK /  FOXWOOD

We arrive in New York and journey north along the Long Island Sound for our overnight stay at Foxwood Resort & Casino in Connecticut , with its five casinos, restaurants, theaters, museum, arcades and shops-truly an entertainment center for all ages.

Day 3 - Monday                       FOXWOODS RESORT & CASINO / BOSTON

We continue north through Connecticut and Rhode Island, and enjoy the afternoon sightseeing Boston, “The Cradle of American Independence,” with a local guide focusing on the prominent landmarks, Beacon Hill, Boston Common, the Old North Church from which Paul Revere took his famous ride, the Freedom Trail, and Old Ironside.  We drive to Cambridge , passing the Ivy League University of MIT, and taking a short walk through Harvard yard.  There is opportunity to browse through historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, a large shopping area.  We end the evening with a sumptuous lobster dinner, included in the tour.

Day 4 - Tuesday                                 BOSTON / MONTREAL

We visit the Minuteman National Park at historic Lexington and Concord Bridge in Massachusetts .  Then, continue to the rolling Green Mountains of Vermont, alive with rich greens during spring and summer, aflame with color in autumn, and enjoy the serenity of rural life at Morse Farm, where Burr Morse demonstrates how maple syrup is processed.  We depart Montpelier , where Vermont ’s Capitol stands framed against the hills in a memorable setting.  We journey north and cross the U.S. border into Montreal , Canada .  For optional activity, join your escort for a walk along St. Catherine Street , have a leisurely dinner, and discover some of the many charms of the delightfully French city of Montreal , Quebec

Day 5 - Wednesday                            MONTREAL / OTTAWA

Enjoy a comprehensive, sightseeing tour of Montreal with a local guide and see Notre Dame Cathedral, the Olympic site, the old French quarters, and St. Joseph’s Oratory.  Enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the St. Lawrence River from atop Mount Royal .  We drive west into the province of Ontario to Ottawa , Canada ’s beautiful capital with its exquisite gardens and regal architecture.  Upon arrival, we embark on a guided city tour showcasing the Parliament buildings located high above the Ottawa River on Parliament Hill.  We see the impressive landmarks, such as the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the picturesque Rideau Canal , the Prime Minister’s residence, and many of the city’s beautiful embassies.  Exclusive on our fall tours, Gatineau Park for breathtaking views of fall foliage.  Our overnight stay in Ottawa gives us the opportunity to enjoy the tranquil charm of the city, shop at the boutiques of Rideau Center , and even enjoy a “beaver’s tail” at Byward Market.

Day 6 - Thursday                                            OTTAWA / NIAGARA

This morning we head south to the St. Lawrence River for a scenic cruise among the lovely Thousands Islands .  Some islands are lushly forested while others support only a few pine trees perched precariously over the blue waters.  We travel to Kingston , where the great river opens on to Lake Ontario , and on to Toronto , provincial capital of Ontario .  We take an elevator ride to the top of CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the world.  We continue our journey along the Queen Elizabeth Way to the Floral Clock and Whirlpool Rapids of the Niagara Gorge on our way to the Canadian side of scenic Niagara Falls .  Take an evening walk to see the breath-taking “Illumination of the Falls.”  Our hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and amusement to keep us fully entertained.

Day 7 - Friday                         NIAGARA FALLS / WILLIAMSPORT

This morning we view the falls from high above the thundering waters, then descend to the churning waters of the Niagara River and take the famous “Maid of the Mist” boat to view the falls from below, weather permitting.  We clear customs at the U.S. border en route to the beautiful vineyards and rich farmlands of New York and the countryside of Pennsylvania .  We enjoy the

tranquil scenery of lush mountain greenery of spring and summer, and the blazing colors of autumn.  Our journey today takes us to Williamsport , the home of Little League baseball for our overnight accommodation.

Day 8 - Saturday                                 WILLIAMSPORT / LANCASTER

This morning, it’s off to the “ Sweetest Place on Earth,” Hershey’s Chocolate World, where we take an automated tour ride which explains the chocolate-making process.  Our next destination is the Pennsylvania Dutch country, characterized by rich farmland and religious groups of German ancestry.  We visit the “Plain Folks” country; tour an Amish house and farm to learn the importance of farming in their lives.  Mingle with the friendly residents at the farmer’s market where stalls are filled to the brim with fresh produce, baked goods, and homemade items.  Our overnight stay in Lancaster county includes an Amish dinner tonight. 

Day 9 - Sunday                                   LANCASTER / WASHINGTON , D.C.

Our southwestern journey today takes us to Gettysburg National Military Park , where we take a guided tour of the hallowed grounds of the Civil War battlefields, and the National Cemetery to the Soldiers’ National Monument which stands near the spot where President Lincoln delivered his immortal dedication address on November 19, 1863 .  Our onward journey takes us to a visit to one of the historical landmark in the Washington , D.C. area.  Our accommodation for the next three nights is in Washington , D.C.

Day 10 - Monday                     WASHINGTON , D.C.

Our guided tour of Washington, D.C. includes the nation’s Capitol; the Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korean memorials, the new Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial; Arlington Cemetery to see the changing of the guards and the Kennedy grave sites; and Mount Vernon, the stately home of George and Martha Washington.

Day 11 - Tuesday          WASHINGTON , D.C.

We travel via Washington , D.C. ’s  Metro system to Ford Theater, where President Lincoln was assassinated, and to the Peterson House, where he passed away.  A short distance away is the Smithsonian Institute, caretaker of our American heritage.  We visit the Museum of Natural History , the Museum of American History , and the National Air and Space Museum .  You may even spend this day pursuing your own interests visiting the National Archives, the National Aquarium, Bureau of Printing and Engraving, the Holocaust Museum, Library of Congress, to name a few.  In the evening you have the opportunity to do last minute shopping at the Pentagon Mall.  Your escort will gladly assist you with your plans.

Day 12 - Wednesday  WASHINGTON , D.C. / PENNSYLVANIA / NEW YORK CITY

We depart Washington , D.C. for Philadelphia , stopping at Reading Terminal, an indoor farmer’s market for lunch, browsing, and shopping.  Our afternoon guided city tour of the “City of Brotherly Love ” includes Independence Hall, site of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and home to the Liberty Bell, and the Betsy Ross’ house.  We continue north to fabulous New York City !  For leisure activities, join your escort and stroll down 5th Avenue , stopping at Rockefeller Center , Radio City Music Hall , Times Square , FAO Swartz Department Store, and even take a carriage ride through Central Park .  Enjoy a leisurely dinner at mid-Manhattan’s original delicatessen, Carnegie Deli.  Of course, tonight’s the night to take in a play or a dazzling musical on Broadway.  The choice is yours:  your escort will assist you.

Day 13  - Thursday          NEW YORK CITY

We take a ferry ride on the Hudson River and New York Harbor to view the magnificent Statue of Liberty, the beacon of hope and opportunities for the millions of newcomers to America . We continue on a fascinating tour of the “Big Apple” with our local guide.  Our motorcoach will take us to SOHO , the financial district, Chinatown Greenwich Village, United Nations, Times Square , Central Park , a view of “Ground Zero”, and other famous landmarks.  Our afternoon is free for independent activities:  opportunities to explore this exciting city or to see another fantastic play.  Come on, take a bite out of the “Big Apple”.

Day 14  - Friday       NEW YORK / HONOLULU

We depart New York City this afternoon for our return flight to Honolulu .
